In the year 2000, just two years into the Faith, and a new father, one of my favourite scriptures was:

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for [the hands of] the righteous.

Proverbs 13:22 (AMP)

Since then, experience and the Word have taught me that one cannot be good, or righteous, or change the fleshly nature and conform themselves to the image of Christ. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit, continuously working to transform us. Our role is to seek first the Kingdom of God, to do the things that allow His Spirit to grow and do its work in us.

Circumstances may make it seem impossible, but God reminds us that we “overcome by the Blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony.” In His word, God tells us, through His messenger Paul, “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.” He says, His Word is bread and life and that His Holy Spirit is living water.

For anything to grow it must be fed. Contained within the pages of this book is bread (the Word) and water (Spiritual insights) in practical, bite-sized, topic-based, nuggets called “snackables”.

I pray that as you read, meditate and put into practice daily, the wisdom and knowledge found within His Word and within this book, that you will grow spiritually and have testimony upon testimony, victory upon victory.

With love in Christ,

Kennith C. Gray
